The new additions complement the existing team, which includes the reigning German U23 Champion, Hannes Degenkolb, Lukas Herrmann (Elite), Fabian Eder (U23), and the Swiss rider Lars Sommer (U23).
Team Manager Stefan Herrmann on the team's main goals this season:
"Our goals are clearly defined. Nationally, we want to defend and expand our German championship titles, dominate the Bundesliga, and also target the Swiss championship. Internationally, we aim for top-ten placements or even podium finishes in C1/UCI races and the World Cup. Furthermore, we hope for many nominations for the European Championships in France and the World Championships in Tabor/Czech Republic by the BDR."
Herrmann emphasized that some races and key events are of particular importance this year. The "Munich Super Cross" in Munich's Olympic Park at the end of October stands out. "For us as a Bavarian team, this event is like a home game, and the atmosphere in the Olympic Park is unique in Germany."
Sports Director Roman Jördens stressed the importance of good team chemistry and a well-functioning support team. "It's important that the harmony in the team between the riders and the support staff is right. The quality of the support directly impacts the riders' performance. The entire surrounding environment is crucial for success." With a large support staff, including 5 mechanics and 3 physiotherapists, the team is perfectly equipped.
Regarding equipment, the team relies on proven material, including the CUBE CX 68 with a special team paint job from sponsor CUBE, tubeless tires from Schwalbe, and wheels from NEWMAN.
The Cyclocross Cycling Team Heizomat p/b Kloster Kitchen looks forward to the upcoming season and is ready for the start in LĂĽtzelbach and Bensheim next weekend. Thanks to a solid structure, outstanding sponsors, and a dedicated team, the squad confidently faces the upcoming challenges.
