FRIED EGG DESSERT
INGREDIENTS
- 13 g chopped almonds
- 4 shortbread cookies
- 1 can of apricots
- Elderflower syrup
- 50 g whipped cream
- 90 ml Ginger Shot Classic
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- A little vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar to taste
PREPARATION
For the creative fried egg dessert in a glass with apricots and quark cream, first finely crumble the shortbread. Mix the crumbs with finely chopped almonds and distribute evenly among dessert glasses (approx. 200 ml each). This creates the crunchy base for the fruity no-bake dessert.
Drain the apricots well. Dice all but about 8 halves of the fruit finely and spread the apricot pieces on the shortbread base. Then drizzle with a little elderflower syrup – this provides a delicate, floral sweetness.
For the airy cream, whip the cream until stiff. In a separate bowl, stir quark, Ginger Shot Classic, freshly grated lemon zest, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream to create a creamy, fluffy quark-cream mixture.
Fill the glasses evenly with the cream. Finally, place an apricot half in the center of the cream – it forms the typical "yolk" of the fried egg dessert.Optionally, sprinkle with chopped almonds or pistachios and chill until serving.
Perfect as an eye-catcher for Easter, brunch, or as a fruity dessert in a glass for guests.
