HEIZOMAT P/B KLOSTER KITCHEN DOMINATES IN THE BUNDESLIGA
The Cyclocross Bundesliga was once again the scene of impressive performances by the Heizomat team powered by Kloster Kitchen from Gunzenhausen/Baiersdorf last weekend. Especially Judit Krahl and the new Swiss addition, Timon Ruegg.
Judit Krahl, the reigning German Elite Champion, demonstrated her superiority on both race days in Bad Salzdetfurth, confidently taking first place on both the first and second days.
Swiss champion Timon Ruegg showcased his skills on the first race day, defeating the 2022 U23 World Champion, Joran Wyseure (Alpecin - Deceuninck), by 13 seconds. On the second day, only a rear wheel defect prevented another victory, forcing him to settle for second place.
Lars Sommer, also from Switzerland, finished fourth on day 1 and, together with his teammate Hannes Degenkolb, who placed sixth, ensured a strong presence for Heizomat. The 19-year-old German U23 champion Degenkolb displayed his class as the best German rider.

Thanks to the excellent results in Bad Salzdetfurth, the team was able to collect valuable UCI points and extend its lead in the Bundesliga.
A Heizomat team member also caused a stir across the Atlantic in recent weeks. Loris Rouiller, another new addition from Switzerland this season, participated in the USCX races in Rochester and Virginia, achieving excellent results. He took first place on both race days in Virginia and third place on both days in Rochester.
It will be exciting to see what other successes the Heizomat team powered by Kloster Kitchen will celebrate in this cyclocross season. With their current form, nothing stands in the way of a successful season.
