HEIZOMAT P/B KLOSTER KITCHEN SIGNS SWISS CHAMPION
The Cyclocross team Heizomat p/b Kloster Kitchen has signed a high-profile new addition for the 2023/24 season. Timon Rüegg, the reigning Swiss Cyclocross Champion, is moving from the French Cross Team Legendre to the Franconian team with immediate effect.
"We are very happy that we were able to sign Timon for our team," says team manager Stefan Herrmann. "He is a top rider who will help us move further up in the UCI World Rankings."
Rüegg is a versatile rider who is at home on all surfaces. He is a strong sprinter and also has excellent technique.
"I'm really looking forward to the new challenge," says Rüegg. "I want to compete with the Heizomat team at the top of the world."
Rüegg's first appearance for the new team will be this coming weekend at the cyclocross race in Illnau, Switzerland.
