MATCHA TIRAMISU WITH STRAWBERRIES

INGREDIENTS FOR THE STRAWBERRY LAYER

INGREDIENTS FOR THE MATCHA CREAM

  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 150 g Greek yogurt
  • 60 g powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 2 tbsp hot, not boiling water (approx. 70°C)

INGREDIENTS FOR THE BASE

  • 150 g ladyfingers
  • 150 g fresh strawberries, sliced

FOR GARNISHING

  • Matcha powder
  • Fresh strawberries
  • White chocolate shavings (optional)
  • Pistachios (optional)

PREPARATION

Pour hot water over the matcha and whisk until frothy with a chasen or electric milk frother. Let cool briefly.

Mix mascarpone, yogurt, and powdered sugar. Whip the cream separately until stiff and carefully fold in. Stir in the prepared matcha once it has cooled, until a uniformly light green cream is formed.

Mix the red smoothie with the Ginger Shot Classic. Dice the fresh strawberries finely.

Briefly dip the ladyfingers in the smoothie and line the bottom of the baking dish with them. Spread a layer of matcha cream on top, sprinkle with diced strawberries, and then layer again with soaked ladyfingers, matcha cream, and strawberries. Finish with a layer of matcha cream.

Let the tiramisu chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight.

Before serving, dust with matcha and decorate with fresh strawberries and mint. Optionally add white chocolate shavings or pistachios.
