CHOCOLATE EASTER NESTS
INGREDIENTS
- 200 g dark chocolate (80-85%)
- 2 tablespoons VITAL FLOW
- optional: 1 teaspoon coconut oil (melted)
- 80 g spelt flakes / sugar-free cornflakes
- 8 small muffin paper cups
- Decoration: Fresh berries, chocolate marzipan Easter eggs
PREPARATION
If you want to make your own Easter nests, this recipe is just right for you. With just a few ingredients, you can quickly conjure up delicious and pretty nests that are perfect as an Easter surprise or a small gift. First, carefully melt the dark chocolate, either in a double boiler or in the microwave, and then let it cool briefly. Meanwhile, coarsely crush the spelt flakes or sugar-free cornflakes in a freezer bag – if desired, you can also use a rolling pin to crush the flakes evenly.
The cooled chocolate is then stirred with 2 tablespoons of Vital Flow, before the crumbled flakes and optionally some melted coconut oil are mixed in. The finished mixture can then be used to form quick chocolate nests by filling them into small muffin paper cups. A small hollow is left free in the middle of the nests, into which two Easter eggs or fresh berries are placed. After that, the nests must harden completely at room temperature and can then be carefully removed from the cups.
This way, delicious, homemade Easter nests are created in no time, which are not only visually appealing but also count among the healthy Easter recipes, as they are made without refined sugar and impress with valuable ingredients such as spelt flakes and Vital Flow. Perfect for anyone who wants to celebrate Easter creatively and consciously.
