SMOOTHIE BASE
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 frozen banana
- 150 g frozen mango
- 60 g fresh spinach
- 50 g frozen cucumber chunks
- 1/2 avocado (optional)
- 2 tbsp almond butter (or other nut butter of choice)
- 100 ml Green Smoothie
- 80 ml milk or plant-based alternative (e.g., oat milk)
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
PREPARATION:
Put all ingredients into a blender and blend for at least 60 seconds until a creamy and fluffy consistency is achieved.
TOPPING EXAMPLE
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 tsp coconut flakes
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp sunflower seeds
- 1 tsp almond butter
- 1 handful fresh berries
PREPARATION:
Divide the smoothie mixture into two bowls and garnish with the toppings. Alternatively, granola, nuts, or fresh seasonal fruit can also be used.
SERVING
Serve the decorated bowls immediately and enjoy.
