That the Wöhrl family enjoys investing in start-ups has been an open secret at least since Dagmar Wöhrl's participation in the VOX show "Die Höhle der Löwen". However, few people know that her husband, Hans Rudolf Wöhrl, also likes to support innovative companies and founders. One of the companies that has attracted the attention and support of Mr. Wöhrl is Kloster Kitchen.
When banks refused to provide loans for further growth to Kloster Kitchen founder Mario Fürst in 2018, Mr. Wöhrl, who now acts as a Business Angel, stepped in. He immediately realized that the founder needed to ensure product availability to grow further and be a reliable partner. Convinced by Kloster Kitchen, founder Fürst, and the unique product, Hans Rudolf Wöhrl invested a seven-figure sum in the company.

Today, the Business Angel, who is a partner at eye level for Fürst, likes to point to the company's development so far:
"I am very satisfied. We are well above the business plan and will probably break the 10 million euro turnover mark in 2021," says Wöhrl, for whom the investment has become a matter of the heart.
The courage to bet on a company that wanted to gain a foothold in the "food" shark tank paid off for Wöhrl. The Business Angel, who was previously known for his entrepreneurial activities in the aviation, fashion, and hotel industries, can now also boast a partnership with a successful food company.
