APPLE CAKE IN A JAR WITH GINGER SHOT CLASSIC

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 g apple sauce (homemade or store-bought, important: without sugar)
  • 30 ml Ginger Shot Classic
  • 5 dates, pitted
  • 20 walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 250 ml cream or vegan alternative
  • Agave syrup, to taste
  • ½ apple, thinly sliced

    PREPARATION

    Pit the dates and either mash them with a fork or finely chop them in a food processor. Then mix the dates with the finely chopped walnuts to form a sticky mass. In a bowl, mix the apple sauce with the Ginger Shot Classic to add a fresh and spicy note. Whip the cream (or vegan alternative) until stiff and sweeten lightly with a tablespoon of agave syrup, if desired. Slice the apple half into thin slices.

    Divide the apple sauce evenly among four glasses. Top with the walnut-date mixture and whipped cream. Finally, sprinkle with a little cinnamon and garnish with fresh apple slices.
