Once and for all: old glass and the lid
The short answer is: You should remove the lid before disposing of it.
In fact, modern processing plants can sort out lids made of various materials. The disadvantage, however, is that this costs more energy. So, if you want to dispose of your old glass properly, you should remove the lid beforehand and dispose of it separately according to its material.
While standing in front of the glass recycling bin, briefly unscrewing the lid and simply placing it on one of the bins is also not a good solution. They are not disposed of here. So, it's best to remove all lids from the old glass and throw them in the appropriate waste before heading out.

It's best to remove lids before disposal
The 1SHOT and 12SHOTS bottles from Kloster Kitchen have an aluminum screw cap. You can easily dispose of this in the yellow recycling bin!
Old glass – How clean does it have to be?
Another question that some people surely ask themselves – usually still standing directly in front of the glass recycling bin: How clean must old glass be before it can go into the bin? For liquids, such as our ginger shots, it is not necessary to rinse the bottles before disposal. Other contents also only need to be removed until "spoon clean" – normal scraping out is sufficient here.
Attention: This does not apply to honey jars – the exception to the rule! You should rinse these thoroughly. Otherwise, they attract bees looking for food, who then carry honey residues full of bacteria into the beehive!
